2. Germany, Berlin
The next day of Berlin, I spent it at the Botanical Garden that was located in a huge park called Botanischer Garten. It took about an hour and a half to commute to the park and the park was located in a little town called Steglitz. The park was empty. The only people I think I saw in the park were mainly the gardeners, workers and a few older folks.
They called the botanical garden "house garden". I have been to many in the states, but this garden was the largest and most prettiest one I have ever seen. They had sections of plants from all over the world. It was just all green and so beautiful. They had birds that lived inside the houses. The best part if it was that it was so empty and quiet. I saw so many people just sitting and reading, a girl had even packed a warm drink and sat on a table in one of the smaller houses reading. If I lived in Berlin I would do that once a week. There is possibly no type of meditation more stronger than that.
Later in the day, I went to a boutique called PicknWeight. You pick what you want, and the price is determined by its weight and class it is placed in. I got a coat of course, a hat which is now my new favorite hat, and a pair of shoes.
The day after, we spent the whole day at Unikat Tattoo.
My last day in Berlin, I went to the museum of photography. I discovered it by staring outside the glass windows of the train station. I was trying to figure out what to do and was looking straight at the words, "Museum für Fotographi".
I saw work from Helmut Newton, a portrait nude photographer. They had a display of his room in the museum and all his cameras. They also had Sigrid Neubert who is now one of my favorite photographers. He really does have a passion for taking photos. He doesn't take photos with a camera, but his eyes, he lets the camera capture the image we wants to see and remember. That is something I like to go by as well. It was really nice learning about him and looking at all his photos.
